VerseEcho Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 20, 2026

Version covered: VerseEcho without a VerseEcho account, in-app purchases, subscriptions, or third-party advertising

This Privacy Policy explains how Gospel For All Inc. (“Gospel For All,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, retains, and deletes information when you use the VerseEcho mobile application and related services. Gospel For All Inc. is the controller of personal information processed for VerseEcho.

This Policy should be read with the VerseEcho Terms of Use for this version. Questions and privacy requests may be sent to support@gospelforall.app or Gospel For All Inc., 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes, Delaware 19958, United States.

Version Covered by This Policy

This Policy applies to the version without a VerseEcho account, registration, login, in-app purchases, subscriptions, or third-party advertising.

Only the practices associated with features actually presented in the installed version apply. We will publish an updated policy before or when a future version materially changes the relevant data practices, as required by law.

Information We Process

Firebase Authentication may generate an anonymous technical identifier used to authorize supported requests to the VerseEcho backend. That identifier is not a public profile and is not a VerseEcho login account.

How We Collect Information

We collect information directly from you when you record, type, choose a setting, or contact support; automatically from the app and device when needed to operate, secure, diagnose, and understand the Service; and from service providers when they return a transcription, summary, Bible passage, diagnostic event, or other requested result.

We do not obtain access to the microphone merely because the app is installed. Microphone and speech-recognition access depend on the applicable iOS permission and the feature you choose to use.

How We Use Information

We do not use recordings, transcripts, notes, or summaries to build advertising profiles or to display targeted advertising.

Sensitive Information and Information About Other People

Recordings, transcripts, notes, and summaries may reveal a person’s voice, religious beliefs, health, relationships, confidential communications, or other sensitive information. You decide what to record or enter. You are responsible for obtaining required consent and avoiding unlawful or unnecessary collection of information about other people.

Please do not record or submit sensitive information that is unnecessary for the feature you request. Do not use VerseEcho where you lack permission to record, transcribe, store, or disclose the material.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information to perform the service or transaction you request; with consent for optional device access or other processing where consent is required; for our legitimate interests in operating, securing, diagnosing, and improving VerseEcho where those interests are not overridden by your rights; and to comply with legal obligations or protect vital and legal interests.

You may withdraw consent for future processing where consent is the basis, but withdrawal does not affect processing already completed. Disabling a required permission may prevent the related feature from working.

Speech Recognition and AI-Assisted Processing

When you request transcription or an AI-assisted summary, VerseEcho may transmit the recording or transcript, selected language, prompt or feature instruction, and limited technical metadata to the configured speech-recognition or AI provider. The provider processes the material to return the requested transcript or summary.

Gospel For All does not use your recording, transcript, note, or summary to train or fine-tune a general-purpose AI model. We use these materials to provide and support the feature you request. We do not authorize providers to use User Content for independent advertising.

Provider handling depends on the applicable service configuration, contract, and provider terms. Because those arrangements and technical workflows may differ, we do not make an unsupported promise that every provider keeps data for zero time or deletes it within one universal fixed period.

Service Providers and Privacy Resources

Depending on the feature you use, the following providers may process the stated information on our behalf or as an independent platform provider:

The linked provider policies explain how those companies handle information when you interact directly with their services. VerseEcho’s own collection, instructions to providers, and disclosures are governed by this Policy and our applicable agreements.

We select providers for the functions described above and use contractual, organizational, and technical measures appropriate to the information and service. Provider availability and processing locations may change; we will update this Policy when a material change affects VerseEcho’s practices.

Bible Content and API.Bible

Bible translations may be supplied under licenses obtained through API.Bible, directly from rights holders or licensors, or from public-domain sources. Licensing and content-use conditions are described in the API.Bible Terms and Conditions and translation-specific notices where applicable.

Bible content may be stored in or delivered through Gospel For All systems. Selecting a translation or passage may create ordinary feature, request, and diagnostic data. API.Bible and Bible rights holders do not need your recordings, transcripts, notes, or summaries to provide or license Bible text, and we do not send that User Content to them for this purpose.

When We Disclose Information

We disclose information to the service providers identified above for the stated purposes; when you direct us to share or export information; when required by law, legal process, or an enforceable government request; when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or security or prevent fraud; and in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice requirements.

We do not publicly post your recording, transcript, note, or summary merely because you use VerseEcho. If you choose to export or share content, the recipient or external platform will process it under your direction and its own practices.

Sale, Sharing, Advertising, and Tracking

VerseEcho does not display third-party advertising. We do not sell your recordings, transcripts, notes, or summaries. We do not sell personal information for money.

Adjust and Firebase may process device, app, attribution, analytics, and diagnostic information for the purposes described above. Their use is subject to the released configuration, iOS settings, applicable consent requirements, and our instructions. If a future practice creates a legally defined sale, sharing, targeted-advertising, or profiling right, we will update this Policy and provide the required choice before the change applies.

Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including providing the requested feature, maintaining User Content you have not deleted, operating and securing the Service, resolving support requests or disputes, preventing fraud, enforcing agreements, and complying with law.

Deletion

You may delete a note, recording, transcript, summary, or attachment through available in-app controls. Deleting an item initiates removal of that item from active VerseEcho systems associated with the anonymous technical identifier, subject to technical processing and permitted legal or security exceptions.

Because this version has no VerseEcho account, a privacy request may require a device, app, anonymous identifier, support correspondence, or other reasonable information to locate relevant records. You may request assistance at support@gospelforall.app. Residual copies may remain temporarily in backups, security logs, or provider systems until overwritten or removed under applicable processes.

Deleting the app from a device does not necessarily delete information already transmitted to Gospel For All or a provider. Use the in-app deletion controls where available or contact us for assistance.

Permissions and Privacy Choices

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent; to opt out of certain sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling; and to appeal a denied request or complain to a supervisory authority.

We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity, authority, device, anonymous identifier, or account and to locate responsive records. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted, subject to verification.

European and Similar Data-Protection Rights

Where the GDPR, Swiss data-protection law, or a similar law applies, Gospel For All acts as controller for the processing described in this Policy and uses the legal bases stated above. You may contact us to exercise applicable rights or contact your local supervisory authority. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and may withdraw consent where consent is the basis.

Nothing in this section represents that VerseEcho is offered in every European country. Availability remains subject to the App Store storefronts and regional distribution selected for the applicable release.

United States State Disclosures

Residents of U.S. states that provide additional privacy rights may exercise applicable rights through the contact methods in this Policy. These may include rights to know, access, correct, delete, obtain a copy, opt out of sale or sharing, opt out of targeted advertising or certain profiling, and appeal.

We do not sell personal information for money, do not display third-party advertising, and do not use User Content for targeted advertising. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of children under 16 for cross-context behavioral advertising.

International Processing

VerseEcho and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries that may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use recognized transfer mechanisms and contractual, organizational, or technical safeguards. Mandatory rights under the law where you live are not waived by this Policy.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. Safeguards are selected according to the information and processing involved and may include access controls, authentication, transport protection, provider review, logging, and incident-response procedures.

No storage, transmission, or processing method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You should protect your device, passcode, backups, accounts, and exported content and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.

Children

VerseEcho is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13 without legally required parental consent. If local law sets a higher age for consent to data processing, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent where required. If you believe a child has provided personal information unlawfully, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Third-Party Sites and Services

This Policy applies to VerseEcho and Gospel For All’s processing described here. It does not control information you provide directly to Apple, Google, a provider website, or another external service. Review the linked provider policies before using an external service or sharing information outside VerseEcho.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy when the Service, providers, law, licensing, or data practices change. We will post the updated version and date and provide additional notice or request consent where required. A material change will apply prospectively to the extent required by law.
